In my practice, I support adults with emotional difficulties and help build their confidence in managing their own mental health. My focus is on teaching critical tools that foster self-awareness and self-management. I use strategies from treatments that are evidence based such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and more.
I have worked with individuals who have difficulties in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, somatic disorders, adjustment to chronic illness, insomnia, pain, and trauma.
